Updated: July 2026 · Official sources in each guide- USA B1/B2: fee US$185 (non-refundable); next appointment ~1.5 months in Quito and ~4 months in Guayaquil (as of Jun 2026).
- Canada (visitor): fee CAD $100 + biometrics CAD $85; processing ~24 days (as of Jul 2026); biometrics only in Quito (VFS Global).
- Schengen: fee €90 adult / €45 children 6–11; decision in 15 days (up to 45); Spain via BLS Quito/Guayaquil, France and Italy via VFS Quito, Germany directly at its embassy.
Do I get a refund if the visa is denied?
No. None of the three application fees are refundable.
Where is each visa processed in Ecuador?
USA: Embassy in Quito or Consulate in Guayaquil. Canada: online + biometrics at VFS Quito. Schengen: depends on the destination country (see the guide).
