• El Poblado: The safest and most touristy area. Hotels, restaurants, bars, and Parque Lleras for nightlife.

• Envigado: Town within the city. Quiet, safe, and with the best authentic paisa food.

🚌 Getting Around

Medellín's Metro is Colombia's only one and it's excellent. It connects with Metrocable (cable car) for incredible valley views. Taxis are affordable and safe — use InDriver or DiDi. The tram covers the center-eastern area. Comuna 13's escalators are an attraction themselves.
