• Downtown Dubai: Next to the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall. The most iconic area, with the Dubai Fountain and walkable access to the main attractions.
• Dubai Marina / JBR: Beachfront and very modern. Skyscrapers, a waterfront promenade, public beach, and cosmopolitan atmosphere.
• Deira / Bur Dubai: Historic and more affordable Dubai. Gold and spice souks, Dubai Creek, and lower prices.

🚌 Getting Around

The Dubai Metro is modern, driverless, and affordable, with lines covering Downtown, Marina, and the airport. Taxis are plentiful and metered. Careem and Uber work well. To cross Dubai Creek, a traditional abra costs just a few dirhams. Get a Nol card for all public transport.
